Yea! September 11th began the new school year for Benjamin. He is now in 4-year preschool 3 days per week and we are all getting used to the new schedule.
The first few pictures above were from Ben's first day. The little girl in the picture in front of the lockers is Ally, who lives 2 doors down from us. How great for Ben to have an instant friend in class.
On Friday I got to visit his classroom as "Class Mom". The class is much like last year but this term they will start preparing for Kindergarten. Soon they will start playing Alphabet Island from what the teacher says. I have no idea what it is but it sounds fun! I just hope that Ben doesn't get bored, he already knows his ABC's and is starting to sound out words too. He is also working really hard at counting. He can get up to 14 and misses 15, then he skips 17 before getting to 20. He'll figure it out soon I'm sure.
